Interested in fostering or adopting from JCN?

The first step is to fill out our form below.

Before applying, please make sure to read the following information carefully:

• The information collected from this form is essential to our re-homing process. Submissions with incomplete information may not be considered or replied to.

• You must be at least 21 years of age to apply.

• We try to place kittens under six months of age in pairs or as a friend for another cat already in the home.

• If we think we have a cat that might be a good fit for your home, you will be scheduled for a video interview (approx. 90 minutes long).

• We must meet and speak with all members of the applying household.

• All adoption and foster placements require an in-person home visit and ID check before finalization.

• We require visa holders to have a minimum of 6 more months in the country. For student visas to be considered, we require clear proof of available financial resources and/or income.

• Fosters will be expected to supply all daily care resources themselves, including specified high quality foods. Medical expenses for fosters will be covered as long as the cat is brought to our named vets. If chronic or serious health issues arise, we may require that the cat be returned to our care.

• All ongoing communication is conducted in English (unless special arrangements have been made).

• We require regular ongoing communication and updates from fosters. We require some ongoing communication and updates from adopters, even after the adoption is finalized.

• We have a vigorous screening process to help ensure our cats find the perfect home where they can thrive and be happy. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
