Rescued kitten Freya needs a home

This gorgeous female kitten was found abandoned in a cardboard box in a car park. We were walking past, on the way to pick up more supplies for the shelter, when we heard her tiny squeaky voice, desperate for our help.

We brought her back to the shelter and cleaned her up. She is thin, and her sneezing indicates that she may have flu. Despite her trauma, after some food (she was starving) and water she brightened up. She loves playing with string, and enjoys smooching the new humans she has met.

We have named her Freya, after the Norse goddess, because she is beautiful and charming.

We are actively looking for foster homes with no pets, or limited access to other vaccinated pets until she has a full checkup with the vet. If you would like to offer her a forever home that would be fantastic! We have several volunteers who can assist in transport to Tokyo if required.

Please contact us if you are interested in welcoming Freya into your family.
