Volunteer Under The Spotlight: Holly!

Hello everyone, I am Holly/Héloïse from France.

Love: animals obviously, arts, dance, Japanese culture, traveling, vintage/retro things, cute things, music, movies, lots of stuff! I studied Arts and Japanese.

I arrived at the shelter on March 15th to stay for a month.

I can't believe how fast the time passed by! I knew I wanted to do some volunteering with animals even before coming to study in Japan, and so I was really glad when I found Japan Cat Network, I jumped on the occasion and I have no regret! I had a really nice experience here and I know I will miss everyone, the lovely pets and others volunteers included, a lot! I hope a lot of people will come here to help because this place, the cats, and the dogs really deserve it!

The pets here have so many different personalities, it was so interesting to learn to get to know them and live with them! It was also very nice to discover the countryside of Japan, with the stunning white snowy landscape of Inawashiro!

My beloved dog in France will be jealous but I have to confess Chacha was my Japanese love during this month haha.
