Monta has been living outdoors in Kyoto for 10+ years, being fed by people in the neighborhood. Recently due to the severe cold and his health problems, his condition deteriorated rapidly and his case was brought to our attention.
He is unsocialized and wary of humans. He cannot be pet or held. He is afraid and defensive.
He is FIV positive and was in an anemic state when we took him in. While he recovers we will determine whether he can adjust to living indoors.
Any help with supporting Monta would be greatly appreciated.
