Meet Kinme!
Kinme was found in Okinawa by one of our volunteers who was there on a business trip. The young kitten was on her own beside a busy road, with a few empty food containers and a cardboard box nearby. She seemed to have been abandoned only recently, and she was friendly from the very first moment.
The spot was far too dangerous to leave her in, so our volunteer took Kinme in that same night. The next morning a vet treated her for parasites, and she tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She spent the rest of the trip at a pet hotel, where the staff gave her top marks for cuteness and personality, and then traveled to Tokyo to join a JCNI foster home.
Since arriving, Kinme has had her first vaccine and is soaking up all the love her foster can give. She's friendly and playful, and we're hoping to find her a forever home where she'll have a feline buddy to grow up with.
